Sodium percarbonate (SPC) CAS 15630-89-4
Sodium percarbonate is a chemical compound that is produced by the reaction of sodium carbonate with hydrogen peroxide. It can be produced via dry, spray, and wet processes. Sodium percarbonate is commonly known as solid hydrogen peroxide and is an addition compound of hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate. It decomposes into oxygen, water, and sodium carbonate and has an effective active oxygen content equivalent to 27.5% hydrogen peroxide.Sodium percarbonate has a wide range of applications, including as a disinfectant and oxygen source in fish farming. It is easy to use and safe for the environment, making it an ideal choice for fish farmers who are looking for a safe and effective way to improve water quality.Sodium percarbonate is also used in other industries such as laundry detergents, household cleaning products, and teeth whitening products. Its versatile properties make it a popular choice in various industries.

Applications:
Function in detergent system:
1. To replace sodium perborate in detergent formulation, with lower price, faster dissolving speed and better performance in cold weather and area. Using sodium percarbonate can also avoid the influence of sodium perborate to agriculture products
2. Using sodium percarbonate can get the functions of bleaching, sterilization and disinfection for detergent system
2. Prevent fabrics from turning yellow after being washed many times
Function in food and feed industry:
1. 1% water solution of sodium percarbonate can prolong the shelf life of fruits and vegetables
2. To replace calcium oxide in aquaculture, also can keep the fish, shrimp, and crabs fresh during the transportation
Noted:
1. There are 2 types of sodium percarbonate:
a) Sodium Percarbonate uncoated
b) Sodium Percarbonate coated
The difference is mainly in the stability of the material, coating can help sodium percarbonate to keep stable in chemical properties for longer time, that's why for exporting, Rawchem normally sell coated type only
2. We normally list 12 months as the shelf life in our COA, the real shelf life can actually be a little bit longer than 1 years if it's stocked in good condition (bags are sealed enough, away from direct sun-light, moisture and other incompatible chemical materials)
Packing:
25kg/bag or 25kg/drum
